Meals Movement: Join Us For the Next One - August 17, 2024

 Introduction

Infinite Wave Foundation (IWF) is dedicated to empowering communities and addressing food insecurity through our Meals Movement initiative. As we approach our first anniversary, we are excited to announce our next Meals Movement event, scheduled for August 17, 2024. This event holds special significance as it comes just two days before we celebrate one year of making a difference in the lives of those in need. Join us as we continue our mission to provide nutritious meals and foster community solidarity.


Reflecting on Our Journey

As we prepare for the upcoming Meals Movement, we reflect on the incredible journey over the past year. From our first event on March 2, 2024, where we served freshly made pasta to 50 homeless individuals, to our most recent event on June 22, 2024, where we fed over 250 people with the generous donation of deli meat from FG Deli, each event has been a testament to the power of community and compassion.


Preparing for the Next Meals Movement

The upcoming Meals Movement on August 17, 2024, is an opportunity to build on our success and continue making a positive impact. Our team is diligently planning and coordinating to ensure that this event is even more successful. We aim to serve a larger number of people, providing nutritious meals and spreading hope and kindness.


What to Expect

On August 17, 2024, we will gather in downtown Vancouver with a renewed sense of purpose and determination. Our volunteers and staff will distribute meals to homeless individuals and low-income families, ensuring that everyone receives a nutritious and delicious meal. We Are Officially a Charity — A Milestone That Comes with Mission, Responsibility, and Purpose

On February 6, 2025, we received our official letter of charitable registration from the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). While we’ve been operating as a nonprofit since our founding in August 2023, this new designation is more than just a tax status — it’s a recognition of trust, compliance, and capacity to steward impact at a national level.
