Infinite Wave Foundation’s Meals Movement: Spreading Warmth on December 7, 2024

At Infinite Wave Foundation, we are committed to ensuring no one in our community goes hungry. On December 7, 2024, we once again took to the streets of Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, offering a warm meal to nearly 100 individuals in need.

Meals Served with Care: Gumbo & Rice

On this day, the Meals Movement served a hearty and comforting meal of gumbo and rice, inspired by a generous food donation from Freybe’s. The flavorful dish was a perfect choice to nourish the body and uplift spirits as the cold winter months set in. Our team gathered at Hastings St., a location where many of the homeless and low-income individuals in our community find themselves in need. The atmosphere was filled with gratitude as volunteers and community members came together to ensure that each person was served with dignity and care.

Volunteers played a key role in the December 7th distribution. They helped ensure a smooth and efficient process, as individuals lined up to receive their meals. Their support is invaluable in making these distributions possible and helping us serve as many people as we can.
