Behind our work are real people, each with their own story. One of them is Abbey, who first connected with IWF as a volunteer facilitator. At first, he was unsure if he could teach youth about financial literacy — he’d never taught before. But once he stepped into the room, he saw how hungry these young leaders were for knowledge and encouragement. Today, Abbey is not only one of our strongest champions but also our Director of Strategic Finance. His story shows what we believe: when you give people the tools and trust to grow, they don’t just participate — they lead.

The youth we serve are not waiting for the future — they are building it now. We’ve seen students come out of our programs with confidence, financial knowledge, and leadership skills that ripple through their schools, families, and communities.
