This week, our President and Vice President were honoured to be invited as panel speakers for Afro Van Connect Society’s entrepreneurship event, hosting an inspiring space dedicated to emerging and aspiring entrepreneurs.
Sharing the entrepreneurial journey with a room full of dreamers and builders reminded us of why we started: to create impact, opportunity, and pathways for leaders who want to change their communities. You just had to be there.
Connecting with other like-minded entrepreneurs, holding a safe space for everyone to share their truth, experience, knowledge and wisdom, it not only encouraged the emerging and aspiring entrepreneurs, but it also uplifted the community as a whole and give us confirmation that we need to do more of these.
We are truly grateful for Kor, at Afro Van Connect Society, for creating the environment for connection, collaboration and community. We're looking forward to contributing more in the community at future events.
As we write this blog, we received an email with a special update, one that connects directly to IWF's founding family's upcoming trip to San Diego. We can’t share the full details yet, but what we can say is this: the work we are doing is being noticed in powerful places. And this is just the beginning.
More to come soon.
